Morrisville Maintenance Facility and Yard

Background: This project included the construction of 12 storage yard tracks, relocation of three Conrail tracks and rehabilitation of two yard lead tracks; electrification of the yard tracks and the lead tracks up to the interface point with Amtrak’s electrification on the Northeast Corridor; construction of a new interlocking composed of two universal crossovers, and replacement of the superstructure for two railroad bridges. As a member of the construction management team, JBC provided full time on-site construction inspection services.
