Valley Forge Widening -
MP 326 (King of Prussia Interchange)

Background: Originally constructed in the 1950’s, this section of the Turnpike is undergoing a "full depth" reconstruction and widening along a 7-mile portion of toll road. This project consists of roadway widening from four to six lanes of mainline I-276 from the Valley Forge Interchange to the Norristown Interchange and the replacement of two overhead bridges, the Route 202 Bridge and the Flint Hill Road Bridge. Other aspects of the project include construction of sound barriers, box culverts, shoulder widening, guide rail replacement with new concrete barriers and the replacement of seven other bridges in the project area. JBC is performing construction management and construction inspection on four (4) separate construction sections under this contract.
