Background: This project consisted of the construction of ten apartment-style student residence buildings, a new field house for student athletic activities and an academic classroom building. Working for the State of New Jersey, JBC was responsible for the initial schedule development and subsequent monthly updating of the detailed, cost loaded, CPM schedule for this multi-prime project. Additional responsibilities included generating the contractor’s monthly pay requisitions from the schedule; performing time impact analyses; attending job progress meetings, drafting the monthly progress narrative; and participating in change order negotiations related to time extensions.
