Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Four State Correctional Institutions: SCI Albion, SCI Coal Township, SCI Mahony, SCI Somerset - Erie, Northumberland, Schuylkill and Somerset Counties

Background: The projects consisted of four (4) new 1000 bed medium security prisons under the Commonwealth's lease/purchase program. Each facility included housing units, support buildings, a chapel, industries building, administrative and visitor buildings and recreation facilities. As a member of the Construction Management team, JBC was responsible for review and critique of design/builder schedules, progress monitoring and claims avoidance services during construction.
