JBC welcomes Brian Stover as Senior Vice President

JBC is pleased to announce that Brian A. Stover, PE, CCM, has joined the firm as senior leader of JBC's Construction Management Services operation. He will be responsible for business development and growth, technical oversight, quality assurance, financial management, staffing and planning. Brian brings over 30 years experience in the construction management industry including five years with SEPTA.

CMAA Mid-Atlantic Chapter “Project of the Year” Award

JBC joined HEERY and the PA Department of General Services in the spotlight as the Pennsylvania Judicial Center was recognized in the category of “Public Building Project over $100 million” for CMAA’s Project of the Year Award on June 8, 2010 at the Union League.  JBC provided CPM scheduling, document control and change order processing services as a member of the HEERY CM team.

Scott Schaeffer promoted to Director of Construction Management

JBC is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott H. Schaeffer, PSP, PMP, to Director of Construction Management Services. Scott has been with JBC for 18 years and brings his knowledge of construction, CPM scheduling, project management and inspection services to projects as part of our Transportation Services Group.

JBC welcomes return of Loren Mora as Project Manager

JBC is pleased to announce that Loren A. Mora, PE, has rejoined the firm where he previously provided scheduling and project control services for 11 years. Loren brings over 24 years experience with project and construction management for educational, correctional, and large scale public facilities, transit and heavy highway.

JBC is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel L. Davis, III, as Director of Construction Services.  Dan brings over 16 years of highway construction management and inspection experience as he joins our growing construction services group.

Janet Cunningham was nominated by her peers and recognized on May 13, 2009 at the Philadelphia ASCE Annual Spring Awards as a strong business leader who remains actively involved in both the professional and educational areas of the civil engineering industry.

Janet Cunningham was named one of the Commonwealth's Best 50 Women in Business for 2008. The recognition comes as the company she founded, JBC Associates, Inc., celebrates its 20th Anniversary in business.

JBC Founder is PSU Engineering Commencement Speaker

Janet Cunningham returned to her alma mater on May 18, 2007 as the College of Engineering’s commencement speaker.  She accepted the honor and opportunity, calling it “one of the highlights of my life.”  Her speech titled “Accept the Challenge” urged the 771 graduates to embrace the unexpected and unplanned opportunities in life.  She encouraged them to take risks and reach outside their comfort zone. 

Quarterly Excellence Award Given to True Team Leader on Philadelphia School District Project
Anmarie Lehman Rose became the first ever non-Gilbane employee to receive the company's Quarterly Excellence Award in 2006 for her dedication to project excellence on the George Washington High School Renovation project.
